Float the Day Away
Schlitterbahn Kansas City features many slides, chutes, rivers and beaches in its Transportainment River System making it possible for guests to travel from one end of the park to the other without leaving their tube. King Kaw Rapids River is the park’s longest river ride. Named after the nearby Kansas (Kaw) River, this 3,000-foot attraction includes multiple changes in elevation throughout its exciting downhill trip. The Mighty Mo tube chute sweeps riders through rushing water in a secret passageway connecting to the mouth of the King Kaw Rapids River. The Kristal River, a Schlitterbahn staple, is a slow-flowing river for tubes providing a relaxing float on those hot summer days in Kansas – allowing guests to float as long as they’d like! After relaxing in the Kristal River, Schlitterbahn guests ride up an Aqua Veyer to the Blitz Falls tube chute for a casual float back to all the action of the Torrent River. There are endless river options for guests of all ages to enjoy and float the day away.
Kansas City’s Best Zip Line – The Soaring Eagle!
Want a bird’s eye view while soaring over the park? For a small charge, waterpark guests can glide above the park, flying more than 100 feet in the air, on a two-person gondola for ¼ of a mile. It’s the best way to take your waterpark experience to new heights!
Schlitterbahn’s commitment to the environment is long standing. From the way the original park was designed to flow among trees, to the commitment to water conservation (98% of the water is recycled through filtration), to maintaining recycling containers throughout the parks, Schlitterbahn believes in sustainability. The development team, which builds our new parks and attractions at Schlitterbahn, constantly looks for ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Schlitterbahn’s premium cabanas create a unique and relaxing experience. Guests enjoy a common gathering area for their party and experience private seating, lounge chairs, catering, tableside service, dedicated lockers and safes.
