Amusement Today’s Golden Ticket Awards are considered the “Academy Awards” of the theme and waterpark industry and are voted on by industry experts and fans from around the world who visit a wide variety of theme parks and waterparks each year.
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is the flagship park of the Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts family. Opened in 1979, the park features four distinct areas with both spring fed river and chlorinated rides, as well as five Golden Ticket Award winning waterpark rides.
MASSIV, designed in collaboration with White Water, was proclaimed the World’s Tallest Water Coaster by Guinness World Records this summer. It was built as part of Schlitterbahn Galveston Island’s 10th anniversary celebration. Already a fan favorite, MASSIV features four uphill sections, a translucent turn, and a first ever triple-drop finale.
“We continue to be humbled by the ongoing support of our fans and friends in the industry,” said Gary Henry, CEO of Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts. “At the heart of our success is the work of our incredible staff throughout our family of Schlitterbahn parks.
