World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ – Thursday, June 22, 2017
Who: Schlitterbahn Galveston and the Galveston Island Beach Patrol will partner to participate in the world’s largest swimming lesson. Thousands of children from around the globe are participating to promote the importance of teaching children to swim at a young age.
What: The swimming lessons take place at hundreds of locations around the world, including at Schlitterbahn Galveston Waterpark in a coordinated attempt to break the Guinness World Record. Each participant at the event will receive a free ticket to return during Schlitterbahn Galveston’s Indoor Waterpark Season, a discount coupon valid for $5.50 off admission to the park following the lesson that day and a certificate of participation.
