Military and First Responders Get Free Admission Starting Memorial Day
Members of the Military, Police, Firefighters & EMTs will be welcomed at every Schlitterbahn waterpark FREE starting on Memorial Day and continuing through June 5th. It’s a tribute to the hard working first responders and members of the armed forces who dedicate their lives to the safety and freedoms of everyone in their community. Of course, it’s much more fun to visit with family, so in addition to the free ticket, the spouses and dependents of our American Heroes are welcome at a deep discount – 50% off the gate price.
In addition, our Schlitterbahn Kansas City park is hosting a collection for the family of KCKPD Detective Brad Lancaster. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn Galveston will also be offering a 25% discount for park photos for all members of the military and first responders (ID required).
In order to attend Schlitterbahn during American Heroes Week, first responders and members of the military need to show their military ID or proof of employment at the waterpark ticket booths. Discounted tickets for spouses and dependents are available at the ticket booth. Invited members of military include active duty, retirees, veterans, reservists and Department of Defense.
Many forms of ID are acceptable and some rules apply, visit our blog for a detailed FAQ. Additional discounts are available for lodging at Schlitterbahn resorts in New Braunfels and South Padre Island. Visit Schlitterbahn.com for details.
